I thought I might add: as some may or may not have noticed, I'm not really updating the blog regularly and my reports are pretty much to the point, with little additional comment on my part. However, if you're interested in any player in particular, just drop a comment and I can detail stuff or point you to interviews and the like. As a rule, you'll find a lot of stuff on www.violamania.ro, especially in terms of interviews, which will generally be either in English or the mother tongue of whoever is interviewed.
No need to be shy, or think that it's a bother. I deem any requests worthy of at least a reply - as long as they don't involved anything "weird" and it's not insulting or rude.

A Bit About Mr. Uhrin Jr.
In an article from two days ago, Mr. Dusan Uhrin Jr. stated that he would not be interested in taking over the National Team of the Czech Republic at this point, despite being amongst the managers shortlisted for the job. He added that his plans are to keep managing clubs for at least ten more years and, in the short-term, concentrate on his job at Poli. A great character, truly.

The white-violets won their first match of the 2008/2009 pre-season campaign, against a squad composed of local Hungarian third and fourth league players. The goals were scored by Magera, Luchin, Sretenovic, Mansour x3, Axente x2 and an own-goal provoked by Axente. You can watch the goals here.

Airport Interviews with Da Costa and Taborda
